Features an automated mechanical carousel storing 7+1 drill rods (Φ76 mm or Φ89 mm × 3,000 mm) with hydraulic breakout tongs and automatic thread oil lubrication, enabling a single operator to complete 21-meter boreholes without manual rod handling.
Equipped with imported hydraulic rotation motors delivering 4,000 N·m torque. Dual-speed control (0–80 rpm / 0–160 rpm) handles ⌀115–165 mm holes with 4" and 5" DTH hammers, efficiently penetrating hard, fractured bedrock (f=6–20).
Equipped with an enlarged 16-filter-element hydraulic cyclonic laminar flow dust collection system. Provides high-flow suction to capture dense quarry dust generated by large-aperture drilling, meeting strict green mining and silica-control standards.
Powered by a turbocharged Yuchai YC4DK115-T302 engine (86 kW / 115 HP). Includes an operator sunshade canopy, dual side and rear reversing cameras with an in-cab monitor, and ±10° hydraulic frame leveling for stable tramming on 30° slopes.

A: The KZ9 expands hole diameter from 115 mm to 165 mm, increases rotary torque from 1,500 N·m to 4,000 N·m with dual-speed control (0–80 / 0–160 rpm), upgrades engine output to 86 kW, doubles dust collection capacity with 16 filter elements, and supports heavier Φ89 mm drill rods.
A: The automated carousel stores seven 3-meter drill rods plus one on the mast. A single operator controls hydraulic rod loading, uncoupling, and automatic thread lubrication directly from the control console, reaching a depth of 21 meters without physical exertion.
