Engineered specifically for confined narrow-vein mining with an ultra-compact chassis width of only 1400 mm, an overall length of 10220 mm, and ±40° large-angle articulated steering. Drills vertical, inclined, and horizontal blast holes across tunnel cross-sections from 5 m² to 25 m² in any hard rock conditions.
Equipped with a robust K 21 universal boom featuring automatic hydraulic parallelism, 1600 mm feed extension, and 360° feed beam rollover. Paired with high-frequency stepped piston drifters (HC50 13 kW or HC95/RD18U 18–20 kW at 57–62 Hz) for fast penetration, lower rod consumption, and lateral crosscut/bolting capability.
Powered by a Cummins B3.9CS4-80C diesel engine (59 kW) for narrow-drift tramming and an efficient 45/55 kW electro-hydraulic power station for zero-emission face drilling, wet multidisc parking brakes, hydrostatic travel brakes, and a hydraulic telescopic FOPS & ROPS safety canopy.

The Kaishan KJ215 narrow-vein hydraulic underground mining jumbo is specifically engineered for high-speed drifting, tunneling, and production preparation across medium-to-hard rock headings:
The KJ215 is the narrowest model in the series, featuring a machine width of just 1400 mm (compared to 1600 mm on the KJ211 and 2000 mm on the KJ212) and an increased ±40° articulated steering angle (vs. ±35°), achieving an inner turning radius of only R2535 mm for ultra-tight narrow-vein mining tunnels.
The KJ215 can be configured with an HC50 hydraulic drifter (13 kW, Φ32–76 mm) or an HC95 / RD18U drifter (18–20 kW, Φ42–89 mm). The electro-hydraulic power station is equipped with 45 kW or 55 kW electric motors operating at 380V/50Hz (custom international voltages available upon request).
