A: The KSDY series is powered by high-efficiency electric motors (75–160 kW), offering zero jobsite exhaust emissions, lower noise levels, and up to 50% energy cost savings where grid power is available. The KSCY series is powered by diesel engines for remote jobsites without electrical infrastructure.
A: When air demand ceases, the compressor unloads; after idling for a preset duration, the electric motor shuts down automatically to prevent power consumption. As soon as a downstream valve opens and line pressure drops, the unit restarts automatically without operator intervention.
