Residential drinking water boreholes, private greenhouse irrigation, and domestic geothermal ground-loop installations frequently face severe space constraints—including narrow garden gates, residential courtyards, landscaped lawns, and private driveways. Standard steel-tracked or truck-mounted rigs either cannot fit through these tight passages or cause costly surface gouging to asphalt and pavers.
The Kaishan KW180R is purpose-built to solve residential access challenges. Featuring an ultra-slim 1,500 mm width, a short 3.8m transport length, and ground-friendly rubber tracks, it maneuvers into confined spaces with zero surface damage. Operating up to 10 times faster than traditional rotary table drills, its top-drive power head seamlessly alternates between high-pressure air hammer percussion for bedrock (f=6–20) and mud circulation for sand, clay, and gravel.
Powered by an industrial 55 kW Quanchai diesel engine with parallel transmission and independent hydraulic oil pumps. Ensures balanced power delivery, high fuel economy, and low-cost, straightforward maintenance.
Boasting an ultra-slim 1,500 mm transport width, the KW180R is the narrowest rig in its class. Durable rubber tracks protect urban asphalt, pavers, and residential turf while offering 30° climbing ability on rough terrain.
Patented composite arm design with dual lifting cylinders delivers 10T (100 kN) rig lifting power. The 3.0m feed stroke smoothly accommodates standard 1.5m, 2m, and 3m drill pipes with built-in cylinder safety limiters.
Top drive power head with speed reducer delivers 4,200–5,600 N·m torque and 40–70 r/min (fast distribution valve allows speeds up to 150–160 r/min). Large hollow spindle allows air, foam, and mud drilling without head swaps.
Four heavy hydraulic legs provide fast leveling on uneven ground and elevate the rig high enough for a flatbed truck to drive directly underneath, enabling 100% crane-free self-loading and unloading.
Equipped with an integrated dust suppression device suitable for tunnel/cavity applications, customized DTH hammer oil mist lubricator, soft-protected hydraulic hoses, and an intuitive centralized control console.

Kaishan LGCY-13/13, LGCY-15/13, or KSCY-550/13 (13–17 bar, 15–18 m³/min) for fast rock penetration with 4"/5" DTH hammers.
BW-160 reciprocating mud pump for borehole wall stabilization when drilling through alluvial sand, gravel, and wet clay.
