Custom-designed for large-diameter solar photovoltaic (PV) ground pile holes up to 500 mm (20 inches). Handles heavy 6" to 12" DTH hammers (standard 8" hammer) with Φ102 mm drill rods to penetrate tough boulder layers and solid bedrock.
Equipped with four sets of hydraulic rotary motors driven by high-modulus straight-tooth gearing with a massive reduction ratio, producing up to 12,000 N·m torque at 0–80 rpm to conquer severe drilling resistance without stalling.
Built on a reinforced box-type structural steel mast with 28A heavy-duty roller chain feed (4,275 mm stroke). Enables continuous single-pass drilling over 4 meters, backed by high-pressure cast-iron hydraulic gear pumps.
Powered by an 86 kW Yuchai DKC9G0 diesel engine with high-efficiency desert cyclone air filtration. Offers an optional 1-ton mast winch for hoisting heavy drill bits and an optional 8-ton chassis winch for steep mountain slope traction.

A: Drilling large holes up to 500 mm (20 inches) with 8" to 12" DTH hammers generates tremendous rotational friction and cuttings resistance. The four-motor configuration with high-modulus gear reduction provides an extraordinary 12,000 N·m torque, preventing drill-string stalling even in fractured, hard bedrock (f=6–20).
A: The 1-ton mast winch is recommended for effortlessly hoisting heavy 8"–12" DTH hammers and Φ102 mm drill rods during tool changes. The 8-ton chassis winch is essential for steep slope operations (up to 30°), providing secure traction and tethered stability on mountainous solar farms.
