The Kaishan KW350 solves these geological challenges by serving as a true hybrid "Gas & Water" dual-purpose drilling rig. Its high-torque overhead power head features a large-diameter hollow spindle compatible with high-pressure air percussion, foam flushing, and heavy mud pump circulation. Drilling up to 10 times faster than traditional mechanical rotary table rigs, the KW350 provides outstanding fuel economy and rapid setup times on projects up to 350 meters.
Powered by a 92 kW Yuchai industrial engine paired with a parallel transmission and independent hydraulic oil pumps. Ensures balanced hydraulic power distribution, low fuel consumption, and easy worldwide spare-parts availability.
Two-stage telescopic carriage provides an extended 6.6m one-time advance stroke, allowing operators to directly use 6-meter drill pipes (as well as 1.5m, 2m, or 3m rods), cutting pipe-extension downtime by 50%. Dual-cylinder hoist delivers 22T lifting force.
Equipped with a rapid distribution valve providing 3-gear stepless speed adjustment (66–135 r/min) and 6,200–8,500 N·m torque. Large-spindle bore easily handles air DTH hammers, foam mist, and mud drilling without head modification.
Four heavy-duty hydraulic outriggers offer an extended 1.4-meter stroke. Enables instant chassis leveling on slopes and allows the machine to self-load and unload directly onto flatbed transport trailers without a crane.
The patented composite feed system dynamically adjusts weight-on-bit (WOB) as drilling depth deepens, minimizing steering resistance, preventing drill string deflection, and extending DTH hammer life.
Weighing only 8.6 tons with a 2,000 mm chassis width and 30° climbing capacity, the KW350 travels freely through narrow rural roads, residential courtyards, and tight farmland without damaging paved surfaces.
